Foundation of one-man business by August De Clercq.

1949
Foundation of ‘nv Breigoedfabriek De Clercq Gebroeders’. The original design was to exclusively produce knits, such as pullovers, cardigans and slipovers for the fashion industry.

1970

A step is taken towards the world of sports, and towards cycling in particular. The DECCA brand was born and up to this day, it continues to vouch for high quality sportswear, produced by a manufacturer most experienced.

2007

As champions, world champions and others alike, estimate quality sportswear of high importance, DECCA is the obvious partner for thousands of sports clubs. High quality at club friendly prices has always been the foundation for the success of this Belgian manufacturer.

All of our sportswear is being produced by our factory in Zottegem. The newest developments in textile technology are being followed up closely by DECCA, and are used both to improve existing garments and to generate new products. A perfect example of this working method are the thick woollen cycling jerseys, which are designed by DECCA, based on the present-day high technology, breathing, elastic cycling suits.
