Production process

Our complete supply of sportswear is being produced by our factory in Zottegem, situated in the centre of the so-called ‘Flemish Ardennes’. Our clothing, in which you are continually exceeding your physical limits, has gone through a complete production process in our workshop, located in the cycling Eldorado.

Designing

In close consultation with our company designer Hendrik, you can design your own clothing. The illustrations and publicity ads such as sponsor logos you are expected to digitally deliver to Hendrik. Subsequently, our designer makes a few drafts, which are submitted to your approval. If wished for, Hendrik performs any necessary adjustments. When you give your final approval for the design, the production starts.

Cutting

Before we can speak of clothing, first we need to dispose of the fabrics. These are cut automatically with an extreme accuracy of 0,1 mm. In this way, misapprehensions with incorrect measures are ruled out.

Printing

When the fabrics are cut, they are ready for print. We print by means of the so-called ‘sublimation technique’. Along with the clothing, the pre-printed sublimation papers* are put under the printing press, reaching temperatures of 200° Celsius. In this way, the ink of the sublimation paper is transmitted on and baked into the fabric. Using this technique, the print can never again be taken off, not even after laundering thousands of times.

* A distinction is made between two methods, due to the way the sublimation papers (needed to print the fabrics) are generated:

     1. Digital method

By means of this technique, the design is instantly redirected from the designer computer to the digital printer, printing immediately on the sublimation paper. This method is often used for small amounts (such as champion jerseys) or limited yet multicoloured orders. This method will save you both time and money because clichés need not be made.

     2. Classical method

Classical method: first, a film of the design is made, which is transmitted on a screen by means of an exposer. This method is more economical than the digital method in case of bigger amounts. By means of the classical method, a number of backups can be printed. These backups are kept at our factory, and can be used afterwards in order to produce supplementary orders.

4. Sewing

Once the fabrics are cut and printed, the sewing of the clothing can start. During this stage ordinary pieces of fabric are transformed into the outfit of your dreams.
